When I first saw Sara’s weekly photo challenge a whole string of thoughts and ideas, not really related, crossed the movie screens of my mind. The storks reminded me of the birds I spent hours watching while on a business mission in the Algarve which in turn reminded me of a comment Piglet in Portugal left on Thursday’s post. Dumb me had to look up the FLA’s meaning… I’m not into using such stuff. The FLA? MWAH… I rest my case!
But… I was also reminded of Marion’s post Art in Dublin … one statue she missed fits perfectly with today’s theme…
The name plate is even a work of art… so I’ll include that as well… The Kiss, Rowan Gillespie… bronze set on red, moss stained brick…
One thought led to the next… Thursday, being Valentines day and all, I had the day off. No… not so we could chase each other around the house! I was busy amusing myself when a little visitor arrived in the room. I then read some of his books for him but you know how it goes… the little folk soon become distracted. So off he went, but not before stopping at the mirror to do what all 3 year old’s do… kiss their reflections. There you have it… the Wibbly Wobbly Wonder Kiss!!
The little darling heard the shutter and turned to give me this bashful smile… all worth a day’s holiday, won’t you say?
OK… I’ll stop the thought processes now… have fun, enjoy the weekend and don’t do what I wouldn’t!!

The statue is at the southern end of Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin… near the SA Embassy… that’s how I found it…
