There I was… about to make the breakthrough discovery of the century. I woke in the middle of the night… as mature males with diabetes 2 tend to do. But this time it wasn’t nature’s call that got me bolt upright… it was one of those bright spark, eureka light bulb moments… I was going to be the new Fraud. Yes… I’d been blessed with the answer to the age-old conundrum. Why me… I wondered?
No more confusion for me. Now, after all these years, the new dawn had dawned. Metaphorically speaking, as it was in the middle of the night, as I’ve not long ago shared with you. The new dawn? I had the answer to the old sticky toffee problem… the how to remove chewing gum from granny’s favourite cashmere jumper… or knee warmer… or pooch warmer, or whatever.
Yes, from now on the head-games specialists were going to utter my name in total reverence… muttered beneath their breath they’re going to wonder out semi-aloud… how did such a great mind come up with that staggering concept? Yes… just how?
The concept? We, the creative individuals have no dominant side to the brain. No, we… are in perfect… well… then I did a bit of research only to find out there was no relevance to my discovery. We, the creative didn’t really have a clue which side was dominant or for that matter, did it matter if one side was more dominant than the other.
So, what does that prove? Nothing… apart from the fact that I now firmly believe my brain’s two hemispheres are in utter harmony, totally balanced… in equilibrium. Then the thought struck… what if there are two of me in the same head as I suggested only two days ago? Will all the quadrants need to be in equilibrium or will one slice of the pie-chart be more equal than the rest?
Flip my dog! Now I’ve truly rattled my own cage! Bent and buckled… that I truly am! I need to cross some bridge… when I get to it.

The relevance of the photo? My multiplicity suggests there’s all sorts of paradox and twin, disjointed symmetry. The seated beggar… signs of the times? The love locks, since removed. The twinned Irish and Greek flags should be a rather good indication of life’s lovely links… left, right or center brain, it remains all the same…
