Smiley Faces…

Seems I have difficulty dealing with change these days. Either that or winter commuting is not what it used to be. Surely things haven’t changed so drastically? Surely folk should be in an upbeat mood after the festivities? Or is that the problem? Everyone seems to be suffering from the post party aftershock malaise…

No one wants to be doing this train tripper thing. The weather is by no means helping. Horizontal rain is rather a bit of a euphemism… I reckon at times the gale is trying to drive the stuff back upward… to descend somewhere else… to torment another set of folk. Reuse, abuse, recycle… what’s that old saying?

Imagine… one flock of drops hitting a few folk here… then there… then skipping on down the block to assault the next set of innocent bystanders… fun, I tell you… fun!

Anyway… back to my suffering. I can’t seem to get back into the swing of things. Yes, I hear you… slow down, stop complaining… it’s only the first week… you’ll soon get back into the swing of things… blah, blah, blah. True…

Pity I can’t capture the rain effect though… that would get the senses going… yes, I hear you again… nothing new, we’ve all lived through these pleasantries of life. Of course we have… I’m reminded of the howling winds in Port Elizabeth… or the lashing winter storms in Cape Town… like I’ve mentioned before… the place wasn’t called ’Cape of Storms’ for nothing…

So… just to prove I do have a sense of humour and can enjoy myself on the train, whatever the weather… here’s the result of said fun… train smiley’s… 😉 At least my graffiti is harmless and easily evaporate-able… 😛

Train Window Smiley’s… oh what fun I have on the way home! 😉
