‘Tis The Day… Open House C4C Christmas!

Well, living where we do the time has now arrived for 2012… we’ve all been at it… the good lady taxi driver… acquirer of best bargains, me… well, I’m o an extended break so I’ve only been dallying with a few bits of meat… all the while listing to some real retro.

Jenni Warnes, as the Real Man calls her, has been singing about blue rain coats… then the pair of them did one of the best ever bits of music… Joan Of Arc… what a song!! OK… there are other CD’s to listen to… like a bit of F-Mac… any rumours anyone? OR, shall we take to the straits? Dire Straights… some music harmony or lyric?

OK… a quick disclaimer… we’re not flash, we try hard at Christmas… my concern though, there are many worse off than us… I do not want to appear out of line when I show you our bit of paradise…

So… if you scroll back, not very far really, you’ll catch a glimpse of the new tool to be used within a few hours… now I’ll be cheeky enough to show you what’s going on there at about midday… small bits of meat really!! My peace-offering to my bunch… whoopy, thank the unlucky stars… only once a year!! 😉

We have a pack of good music ready… we have some fair treats in the making. We also feel for folk out there who are lonely…

Good morning… after a very late night… well, a succession of very late nights!! I hope you’re having fun wherever you are… I envy you lot in the southern hemisphere. I get the distinct impression some of you will be heading for the beach later today… or, you may be heading back from the beach. Anyway, it is time for me to get going with the food prep, again. All the veggies need attention… to be done at the last moment…

12 Noon and all is well… the little darlings have not arrived here… hence the tree is still in fine fettle…

The meat has been gently placed on the grid… now, it’s time to do the veggies and wait for all the children and grand-kids to arrive…

Around 2 pm the foil came off… rather good-looking, even if I may say so…

Then… the good lady made me pose…
