Go with the FLOW!! Ailsa’s WTT

This week I won’t swim upstream. No, why should I? Why should I make life difficult for myself when the challenge is set. FLOW… no, not against it… rather with it. The good lady has posted 5 photos. So, I’ll do likewise. Ailsa begins with the mighty Mississippi… I’ll show you the mighty Liffey… well, in Irish standards it is mighty…

Alisa’s next photo is of pink sand dunes in Utah. Don’t believe me? OK… click here and see for yourself. Got me a tad stumped, yep I am,  what are my chances of finding desert sand dunes in Ireland? Slim has no limits. OK… why not show you green waves? Our version of desert dunes… man-made dunes with strange men atop the strange dunes…

Next, Ailsa shows us a marching band during New York’s St Patrick’s Day parade… I can’t be quite as obliging so why not give yo the flow of a Kilcock St Patrick’s Day parade?

Right… we rush on. Next Ailsa posts the Niagara Falls. Impressive. Sorry, I can’t beat that. Maybe if I were back on the African continent I could have shown you the mighty Victoria or Augrabies Falls… but alas, here in Ireland I’ll have to impress you with one of our miniature cascades. Yep, I’m always reminded of the power of water when I watch the flow over the top of a lock gate… on its tiny scale it’s still special…

Lastly… I’ll go with the flow of humanity down Dublin’s Grafton Street. At least this photo can match Alisa’s Dublin shot… like for like… going with the flow… oh what fun to it is to go with the FLOW!!
