To Read or to Write?

I know I’ve banged on about this in the recent past… not viewing the blogs of others as often as I would like to. I understand that there must be a reciprocal response… like in the good old days of receiving fan mail one had then to answer those letters. Now, in this modern era we must still do our due diligence… we need to keep the ball rolling… we need to invest in others to reap the dividends ourselves.

What’s the ancient line?

“What swings around comes around!”

Yes… the wheel turns. One is eventually rewarded for patience and persistence, is one not? I hope so! So… if I’m to be quite honest I’d like to think you’ll return another day to read what I have to say and enjoy a photo or two. But, and here’s the big BUT… if I can’t find the time to pay a return visit will that chip you off sufficiently to encourage a no-show? I truly hope not!

Pragmatism is a two-edged sword. I dearly want to do the right thing but at this point in time it just seems so far out of reach. There are only 23 something hours in a day. Coupled with this is the desire to reach 3 full year’s of posting every day. How do I make the two fit? The blatant answer… selfish and maybe even a tad undeserving of me…

I have to keep writing but slip up on the reading.

Sunset... my way? ;-)

At least I could fluke a nice sunset pic for you… yep, this was one of those hold-camera-above-the-head-and-hope-for-the-best photos. The bee was a bonus!

I know exactly what you mean. I do try my best, but can’t possible read everyone I follow. Love your pic. 🙂

  2. This is something with which I, too, greatly wrestle. My time is quite limited (moreso than usual) as of late. Yet, when I know of a prompt or have a thought I feel compelled to share, it keeps me busy during those times I don’t necessarily have access to respond to anyone else (e.g., waiting for my son to get done with an overrunning practice, when I can let ideas flow). Blogging takes some of the edge off from the rest of the day. So, I do what I can, when I can, how I can – and hope others understand because so many have those life times too. Enjoyed your thoughts. 🙂

    Nice catch. 🙂

I value your 'likes' and comments, even though I don't always reciprocate, I care. Thanks for making the effort! God Bless!!
