Delicate – Ailsa’s WTT…

This week, Ailsa chose for us a topic so delicate
Left me in a quandary, time wasted, while I vacillate
A tulip, water drop or two, on goes the mind’s debate
Yes, this matter has me in bits while I procrastinate

Should I also show a street light lamp-post or three
A bird’s feather or the finely spun cob web in the tree
Can’t make up my mind what the best choice should be
This week’s share of uncertainty the girl’s stirred in me

If I don’t make up my mind it will soon be next week
There’ll I’ll be, ’cos indecision’s made my options bleak
My temper may turn more delicate as I howl or squeak
This challenge has left me speechless, limp… just weak

Aha, I find the answer among the caps and stems so free
The solution to the challenge has really been baffling me
I’ll show a few different photos rather than just two or three
Better still, these mushrooms can nicely fill a wee gallery

Aaah why not? Ailsa’s never said I’m not to tread less delicately… has she?

A gallery it is then… After all, there’s not mushroom in one little picture. 🙂

A poet AND a photographer. Great post.

Great poem and images. Those mushrooms do look so delicate with their elegantly tall stems and pretty caps. 🙂

I value your 'likes' and comments, even though I don't always reciprocate, I care. Thanks for making the effort! God Bless!!
