The End Of Work Week Three

So you see, it wasn’t that difficult or even so hard
Almost as easy as dropping into a vat of soft lard
Not nearly as painful as a cut from a sharp shard

The week begun, we counted them down one by one
Monday morning blues driven away by pale wintry sun
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, all part of life’s fun

By Friday morning we again dared to ignite the dream
Two whole days ahead for us to let off over-boiled steam
Soon we’ll be out to continue our weekend’s chosen theme

May it be sport, photography and friends or places to see
It matter’s not much what our activities or choices will be
As we reach the end of another year’s work week three

I bid you a Saturday and Sunday in sunshine sublime
For all I know you’ll be sleeping till Sunday lunchtime
Whatever you do, be ready for Monday’s alarm chime!

DtFB PF - Fairy Lights... magic!

Another of the GLW’s specials… I call it “Fairy Lights”… the sun’s effect on the rain droplets… or is it the rain droplet’s effect on the sun rays?

You have a good weekend also, I am hoping to go see the Turner exhibition in Dublin tomorrow, as I have never managed it before.
