Abandoned – WPhotoC

Why did this photo spring to mind when I read this week’s challenge? Cheri shows us a photo of an abandoned, graffiti filled building. She mentioned the human aspect of past, present and future. This photo does much the same for me… mostly though, I keep wondering what became of the child who once sat in the stroller? I’ll leave it up to you to make up your mind. I don’t know but let’s hope the outcome was not a dark one…

I have many other photos that could fit today’s challenge… maybe I’ll do something more on another day but for now I think the empty stroller asks enough of us…

Reminds me of one night me and the other half took the dogs for a walk. It was pitch black and foggy. We get to the entrance of the park, a dirt track leads through it surrounded by trees, a streetlight giving off a little light in the dark and fog – and an old pram is there. Right on the middle of the track, in the dark foggy night.

We just stared at eachother. Is there a baby in there? Who left it? Why leave it? 2 seconds later a couple and their dog emerges from the trees having gone in there to get a stick for their dog. 😀 But it was bizzare, the scene was like from a horror film, beautiful but so frightening. Baby was uber-cute. 😀

Great pic for the challenge, and hopefully just a stoller abandoned as the kid’s gotten too big.

Yes indeed, one could get nightmares if studying this photo too long! Have a good weekend.
