I’m wondering? How many of you are still in awe of the one you were with on this day one month ago? Or, how many tests have proved positive? Just a thought or two… all part of Friday’s frivolity. OK, let’s skip the messing and head straight to this week’s ditty… as always, I do hope you have a great weekend… and as I often say, don’t do what I wouldn’t!
The End of WW11
Now come to think of it, what rhymes with WW Eleven?
Maybe an element of peace, or a smattering of heaven?
I’ll tell you though; it’s a lot brighter than WW Seven!
Splashed of yellow here and even purple and mauve
We look forward to a stroll along beach or sandy cove
Taking in spring’s beauty, it’s nature’s treasure trove!
There are bumblebees, butterflies and ladybirds to see
From hibernation creature large and small are set free
Soon swifts and swallows will back in sunny Ireland be!
Ducks and geese on canals and rivers frolic and play
I’m wondering if the mallards on our pond will stay
Almost every day we’re seeing their courtship display
Happy, brighter rays… days grow longer as we speak
What’s around the corner, could we have a sneak peek
There you have it, the end of this year’s 11th workweek
