Every Day – Marlay Park

Every day’s a school day… well, so the say here in Ireland. Indeed… another version of the theme goes something along the lines of a day spent learning nothing new is a day wasted.

Have a scroll down to yesterday’s post and you’ll see I was telling you all about beauty in Marley Park. Today, however, I’m sharing a little more of the history of Marlay Park. So, I went hunting for information at the ever-present well of Wiki-P and found that the large Marlay House was first sold on in 1764.

I won’t continue the lesson… who sold on the place to whom and so on and so forth and… and… do click here to visit the Wiki-P chronology. However, I’m still wondering how many have noticed a subtle difference hidden in yesterday and today’s titles? It was only a small snippet of info in the Wiki-P article that pointed me to the error of my misguided ways…

Monday again! Do enjoy your week, don’t do what I wouldn’t!
