Stunning Colour

The Japanese Maple, Acer Palmatum, or as I thought Acer Japonica, are a tree species known worldwide for their colourful foliage. Last Saturday’s walk in Marlay Park had me stumbling upon a few fine specimens. Well, stumbling would me a bit misleading.

The fiery blaze drew me closer… I just had to see these fine things of beauty from beneath. The sunlight playing through the leaves was too good to even attempt describing. Alas, the camera can’t catch such brilliance so I’ll just show you a colour contrasting pic. Before I do though, do click here to visit Michael Lai’s blog. There you’ll see these beautiful trees in their natural habitat! Enjoy…
