Autumn Along The Liffey

I wonder how many folk have seen this view of the River Liffey? The photo was taken from the bridge just outside Straffan. For those that can remember, that’s where the K Club is situated, the place where the Ryder Cup was played a few years ago. However, I ask the question because quite a few people gave the GLW and me skew looks as they drove past. That made me wonder if they’ve ever stopped to take a look at the tranquility. I felt as if I could easily say something along these lines if they would stop… sometimes it pays to get out of your car and walk a few paces… you may see something of interest.

PS – If you’re thinking they were giving us strange looks because we were in the road… wrong, there’s a wide walkway on each side of the road…
