Blessington Glow

Ireland has many beauty spots but one has to leave the house to see them. We’re developing the good habit of leaving the house for a few hours on one day each the weekend. This is a rather pleasing habit during the winter months when there isn’t any cricket on to entice us into the fresh air.

Then, when one is rewarded for stepping out by arriving at a spot to witness the sun breaking through at just the right moment it makes it all the more worthwhile. I think you’ll have to agree, this photo is proof that a little weekend walk-about is rewarding!

Blessington glow... the winter sun breaks through to cast a pleasing glow on the lake... Blessington Lake, Co Wicklow, Ireland

Have yourself a happy week, smile more often and payday will arrive a little sooner, of that I’m sure!
