It’s S’no Fun!!

Last week, the GLW and I were out walkabout and on the way home we ventured into one of the internationally renowned golf establishment close to home. Why? A flurry of snow pellets had just begun as we neared the gate, so always mindful of getting a few snaps, we ventured in.

We parked close to the 18th hole of one of the courses and took photos of the surrounding area… until we noticed the four-ball appearing through the white, swirling gloom. At first we thought they were just getting off the course but we soon realised they were diehards! They had no plans of abandoning their game this close to home so they duly chipped their balls onto the green… well, by now the white and proceeded to putt! The joy was evident… as can bee seen…

S'no fun! Putting out on the transgormed white at Carton House, Maynooth, Co Kildare.

Here’s hoping their shoes kept their feet warm… and they didn’t have a hole in one. 🙂
