I knew immediately which photos I wanted to show when I read Brie Anne’s challenge. You’ll have to agree… it takes some force to lift a boulder that large onto the seawall. I couldn’t make up my mind so I threw together a little gallery. These pics were taken after a severe January 2014 storm lashed the Irish east coast.
The power of the sea… the forces of nature… man has no match for the immense brute force Mother Nature chooses to throw at us from time to time!
Boulders flung about all over the place… a number thrown clear over the wall. See those with no seaweed attached… they’re fresh arrivals on the other side! If you’re wondering, it’s the Great South Wall, linking the Poolbeg Chimneys and the Poolbeg Lighthouse.
Mother Nature does throw a wonderful tantrum doesn’t she. 😀

I LOVE IRELAND! Never been myself, but I heard you guys got rain for days! I love reain!! Lol I tried to write a Irish Accent. I seriously love the pictures, so serene and stoic after a storm, it looks crisp and clear after that boulder chaos. 😀

Yes… rain it does but like you… I can’t do the the Irish accents as I’m a South African! It was a very cold but bright morning. Something that’s very noticeable here… the people are known to comment on the brightness… they’ll say… yes, all is well, at least it’s not raining!! 🙄 Thanks for the follow… much appreciated! 😉

Anyone who wants to take on the fury of mother nature will always lose. Her force is great.
