Whizzzzz… Buzzzzz…

I watched the swallows fly in and out of their nest area… bringing food for the hatchlings. The nest is tucked below the apex of the roof and when the crow decided it wanted to take up station on top the swallows really became agitated!

Suddenly, as if by secret signal, more swallows joined in the areal whizzing. At least 5 swallows took part in the constant harassing of the crow… until it got the message and pushed off!

As you know… trying to capture a swallow in flight is not an easy task but if you look closely at the photo you’ll see one whizzing by…

I liked the B&W version… all the shades of grey made the black of the crow stand out more…
