Yesterday was one of those days. Trains, planes and cars. A definite first for me. Senior Son on a plane at the same time Junior Son was on the train. It was a memorable day because it meant SS was on his way to his first real job. Yesterday his training began, in the UK. We left home at five to get him to Dublin International. Then I returned home to get JS to the station. He’s back at school and commutes into the city daily.
When I arrived back home I mentioned to the Good Lady that great things come in threes. The two boys are well on their way to real-world manhood so the third we’re all waiting for is news of a great new job for their pappy! I have a feeling in my water the news is very near… so, as they say in the classics… watch this space!!
Some arrive… so go. Senior Son walks toward Departures… and the beginning of his working career!! May it all be a great experience… may your rudder steer you in the right direction… in work and life!!
