Looked Up…

The eclipse. So sad it’s gone by again. There we were… camera pointing in the direction of where the spectacle would be unfolding. The auto timer did it’s job well but alas… the human operating the camera did not! I couldn’t get the focus set up correctly in the dark so the whole series of photos is not worth much.

Pity… we don’t have many clear evenings in Ireland. Even less, evenings when we can see a full lunar eclipse. Then, on top of that, it seems this eclipse is one of very few close to a solstice. Just as well we woke in the middle of the show to have a look-see. Yes, it was well worth getting up to look up.

The September 2015 full moon after the eclipse... the planes leave their vapour trails for effect.

A few of the photos have a bit of merit because the hazy vapour trail cloud added effect. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

I value your 'likes' and comments, even though I don't always reciprocate, I care. Thanks for making the effort! God Bless!!
