A Big Gail… and Kate!

You know the old story about why fierce storms are named after ladies? Yep… if you didn’t know and are guessing that it has something to do with their temperament then you may be on the right path. Or, I wonder, should that be the wrong path?

Yesterday, Abigail swept by… lashing Ireland with winds and rain off the Atlantic. Now… believe it or not, we’re being informed that Kate will have her way with us during the weekend. Well, autumn is winding down rapidly so I suppose we must expect the ladies to have their rough way with us, mustn’t we?

Wild weather... as only Abigail can throw at us! Storm clouds building over Carton House, Maynooth, Co Kildare, Ireland

Scroll down a week or so and you’ll see a few photos taken on a bright autumn day at the same venue… yesterday the tortured angry sky sure informed us that Abigail was about to unleash all her fury, in one severe outpouring! Oh… don’t forget gusts of wind peaking way above the kite flying velocity!

Oh… by the way, happy Friday… doubly happy Friday the 13th!! Have fun, and remember… don’t do what I wouldn’t!!
