On Sunday we saw a bit of sun. That was enough excuse for me to go for my first walk of the year. As the old saying goes here in Ireland… when the sun shines, get out and do something! That was rather evident during my walk.
I’ve done that walk on a number of occasions and have never seen as many folk out along the loop. A pack of cyclists… or should that be a mob? Families walking their dogs. Joggers, lone cyclists… mothers pushing babies in buggies… and me… the one with a camera slung around the neck.
I bet you don’t want to see photos of the masses of humanity so I won’t disappoint you. There were also birds of the feathered variety out so I’ll rather show you one of those… happy song thrush singing the winter blues away!
Hier by ons is daar ook n lyster met die kolletjies op die magie, maar ek het hulle nog nooit in n boom gesien nie – hardloop eerder op die grond rond en skuil in n skaduwee.
