Friday Fact

The Wellington Testimonial in Dublin’s Phoenix Park is the tallest obelisk in Europe. That’s a fact. Why is it called a testimonial and not a memorial? It is said that if a memorial is erected to celebrate a person while they’re still alive it becomes a testimonial… another fact! There you have it… two Friday facts… and wishes for a happy day all in one go!
