State of Mind

Standing at the ocean’s edge, watching the windswept waves throwing up the sea spray at sunrise, has a way of playing tricks on one’s state of mind. I came away, after taking the series of photos that this one is part of, chilled to the bone but with a refreshed spirit. Yes, even a heavy heart will be lifted by a bit of time spent watching the sea’s restless action. It’s as if the wild waves wash away the heaviness… even if one is just watching from afar.

A few minutes staring out across the unrest and waves has a calming effect on a restless state of mind
