Dublin Alphabet – N for North Bull Island

A place of solitude. A place of action. A place where one can lose the cares of the world for a few hours while discovering new things. New butterfly species to add to the list… now moths and maybe even new bird species. Yes, go walk there and find a sunrise to inspire. Go relax or go overextend… like the kite surfers seem to do.

You can even book a round of golf if you really want to do so… or, on a warm summers day you can sun tan. Maybe, maybe not! Best to find a sheltered spot between the dunes and read your book… or have a picnic… or walk the dog. No… the dog walkers really spoil the place for others… there’s far too much doggy do-do about!

I cheated a bit… one or two pics are of Bull Island… like the Wooden Bridge. However, sometimes I cross it to find parking… and then walk to the north… of the island, that is!
