Ireland is the land of GREEN! Forty shades? Emerald… grass-green, lime… mint… shamrock. Man, there are so many shades I could most probably do an A to Z just on green… but I won’t. Yes, I’m chicken! Green chicken? Strange but true… you get green chickens… if you dye them in green tea. Who said? OK… enough about the lean mean green machine called … here’s a gallery to take you on a wee green tour…
PS – I believe Johnny Cash wrote and performed a song all about the green. Forty Shades of Green… apparently written after a visit to Ireland!
PPS – Just in case you think I’ve overdone the gallery… I had to stick with the 40 shades theme… and give you 40 photos… I rest my case!

Lovely selection of greens, but I expected more rain in your photos. That seems to be what keeps Ireland so green.

Yes… it is the rain that does it but I usually keep my camera well hidden when it rains… ie, my camera stays hidden often! 😉

Green is my favorite color! My favorite flowers are green carnations. Thanks for the green post!

😉 Plan your visit from late April to early September… long daylight hours and more chances of seeing the sun! (I’ll be your guide!) 😀
