The Balance of the Future?

It was a toss-up between finding balance or thinking about the future. I don’t really want to dwell too much on the immediate future. It’s almost a year that I’ve been unemployed so if I wanted to be brutally honest… I’m a tad worn down and in need for good news. We all are.

But… I must continue considering the balance of things. Yes, we get by and have many things to be grateful for. For that I’m always thankful, even when the future seems a little murky… at this stage!  Mind you… none of us can see into the future so… man’s best made plans are really not in our control. True?

Better... much better!! Thanks NSH!

PS – As soon a I noticed the challenge I was reminded of this photo… thanks NSH for doing the balancing act.

PPS – Mind you… I suppose we all rely on our learning about the mistakes of the past to try and correct our actions in the future… I wonder?

Job hunting is so demoralising isn’t it? But good luck – something will come along soon. Great shot!

The future – who knows what it holds in store? Maar, you’re right, we have no control over it – it’s an abstraction that we humans put too much/invest into and is deeply ingrained (the downfall of the western world in my not so humble opinion). But on the other hand it’s what keeps us being inventive looking for better ways for eg to make the world a better place for future generations .. Lovely photo AJ … and all good wishes for your publishing endeavours.

HI Vossie, in a recent post you mentioned literary agents – now I don’t have any names but you may want to make contact with Peter at https://countingducks.wordpress.com/
He has had a couple of books published and may have some ideas. You may like his blog as well :). I enjoyed your post. I am finding this one to be a tough assignment!
