Sorry… this is a cheat! On two levels. Yesterday’s “P” just didn’t allow me to add Phoenix Park. Now, that raises its own questions. Missing Phoenix Park? Not on! It just so happens to be one of the largest city parks in the northern hemisphere so, quaint as it may seem, I stole “Q” for Phoenix Park. Mmmmm… maybe ‘stole’ is a bit strong… how about misappropriated?
Phoenix Park is simply a great place to go. Yes, you can often still hear traffic and see cars but you can unwind and relax within the confines of the boundary walls. There are so many attractions and ways to pass the time… for the whole family! The zoo is located in the park but I don’t want to go there.
One of my endearing memories of the park will be the day we took the grand-kids to see the deer for the first time. Their faces. They still speak about it. They still ask when we’ll be taking them to see the deer again. Soon… I hope. As soon as we have a bit of summer!

Nee, net die een het. Rudolph! Rudolph the red nose reindeer. Die ander het swarte neuse. Dis juis Rudolph se rooi neus wat hulle een keer gered het! 😉
