Spring. When the earth comes to life. When man puts in extra effort to harvest an early crop. When hard work, rain and sunshine turn the seeds in the earth into crops. When the earth is painted with the vivid colours of spring. You have to agree… this is almost sensual… there’s an almost tactile feeling and tangible look about spring! The earth comes to life!
Then… on the other hand… there’s a delicate fragility that’s also all around. The earth yields her own surprises. Sometimes man calls those surprises unwanted weeds but if you stop a few seconds to have a closer look you’ll realise neatly cultivated fields could never throw up the beauty the earth can do all on her own!

A dandelion looks more like a flower when out in the wild than in my yard. 🙂
