Make Hay!

You all know the cliché… it’s all about hay and sunshine. Sunday we had a break in the clouds and just to prove the cliché the tractors appeared out of nowhere. Well, maybe they arrived by road from somewhere on the farm. It didn’t take long for the hay to be turned.

Believe you me… a few hours later the hay was baled, loaded on trailers and taken to the distant hay barn. All gone by sunset! The moral of the story? Monday it rained… again… so they made the hay while the sun shone!

Making hay while the sun shines... even on a Sunday!

I climbed into the hedge to bring you this scoop! I think I still have bramble spikes stuck in my back… just for the story!

Is it safe to say that saying has it’s origins in Ireland 🙂 ? I’m picturing the “hedge-climbing” and what it looked like to the tractor driver 😉

I value your 'likes' and comments, even though I don't always reciprocate, I care. Thanks for making the effort! God Bless!!
