Die ou kas daar in die agtergrond? Ek vermoed dis ‘n soort laaikas / hangkas – het jy dalk ‘n foto daarvan? Ek sweer dis ‘n ton hout wat daar staan.

Nee… ongelukkig nie… ek was meer desot met die venster se prentjie maar ja… ons het gesels oor daai kas… laaie onder en hang bo… al daai meubels het my terug geneem na my ouma se kaste. Een geelhout 5 laai kas het saam hiernatoe gekom maar ek is bevrees, hy het nie die trekery oorleef nie!

Dis jammer, ek weet nou nie veel van meubels nie (ek is die Ikea-soort 😛 ), maar ek is mal oor hout. Ek vermoed daai kas is wat die Engelse ‘n tallboy genoem het en hulle was uit soliede hout gemaak.

Ek vermoed jy is reg! Ek sal eendag ‘n storietjie skryf oor my ouma se geelhout kas! Die famielie het koerant gebruik as laai beskermers… die datems is oud en interessant! 😉
