Ostentatious

OSTENTATIOUS: Characterised by pretentious or showy display; designed to impress.

Synonyms: showy, pretentious, conspicuous, obtrusive, flamboyant, gaudy, garish, tinsel…

There you have some of the definitions of the big brassy word! It even sounds ostentatious to say ostentatious. Then… throw in a super moon and you’ve really dressed up to the hilt! I’ve always said Dublin looks it’s best under the cover of darkness… then it sparkles!

Novembar super moon showing it's face above the Dublin Convention Centre. The place shimmers... all dressed up for the night! Ostentatious indeed!

To think… it will be another twenty years before we have another super moon as close as this one… and to think the previous one was somewhere in 1948. Indeed we are lucky to have caught a glimpse of the magic moments!

I value your 'likes' and comments, even though I don't always reciprocate, I care. Thanks for making the effort! God Bless!!
