So, who said raising kids is an easy job? The good lady and I are worn out today. The honour, of house-sitting for daughter and her love while they went off for a well deserved weekend, befell us. The only thing… with the house-sit came a cat, two fish and Pepsi, the dog. No problem, I hear you say… until I add in four children.
One, two… no, I’m not counting the kids… one, two… that’s the ages of the youngest two! Now you know why we’re wrecked! Parents of little people we once were… then we could handle all the carry on. Now, as grandparents, even a weekend of the fun is a serious workout!
Taking the kids for a walk… er, I wonder who’s taking who for a walk??? Fun!!!
So, from a warn-out us… you have a great week!! Just think… soon it will be Christmas and we’ll have another round of chaos! Yes… it’s true!
Ouch!! My back hurts!! 
I am sure all your hard work was very much appreciated by your daughter!!! Well done for giving her and her partner a chance to have a break!

They had better appreciate it!! They’re not home yet… most likely be landing at Dublin International in a few minute’s time!! It a fun… if a tad tiring, that’ for sure!! 😉 Now for some sleep… without the noise of a one year old lad’s demands ringing in my ears!! 😛

Dankie tog dit is nie net ek en manlief wat doodmoeg is na ñ naweek van kleinkinders oppas nie. Waar is al my energie heen!! En ek is altyd reg om op te pas, maak geen fout nie. Maar daarna…het ñ paar dae nodig om net weer asem te skep.
