The Road Taken

Many, many roads… yes, I’ve taken many of them! In Ireland, I have walked along canals… along rivers… along beaches and woodland paths. City streets… village lanes and even the odd rail tracks, have been some of the roads. But then, most of these roads I’ve walked on my own.

However, that has changed in the last few months. We moved to the coast in late October last year and oh boy, how the delights of finding new paths to explore has thrilled us! The us? My good lady won’t stay home now. Yep, she leads the way… along new roads. This photo was taken in the middle of winter… a new discovery for us! Imagine our pleasure at finding this new playground! We are waiting impatiently for the spring and summer… we have many more paths to walk… as we tread on the everlasting wheel of life… the ultimate road taken!
