Yesterday’s weather was a tad damp. So much so that we didn’t really venture out of the front door until mid afternoon. The constant drizzle in the morning would have made even a short walk on the beach a soggy affair. So, I stayed home and worked on a few short stories… and got to some long overdue blog business. While searching for some photos of Dublin’s River Liffey I revisited a post I’d placed on the 26th of November 2014. I spotted a few avatar pics of folk I haven’t seen in a while. So, I decided to visit the folk who’d liked that post. (I’ll list them in the order they appear although some have drifted away…)
Sallyann. I think the good lady is my longest blog buddy! We both approaching six years blogging this month! Thanks for your steady support and friendship!
Felicity – this lady often writes up a saucy storm. Enough to turn any cold-hearted soul into a drooling mess!
Map of Time. Although this blog is currently dormant the maritime stories are interesting and well told. Really worth a visit!
de Wets Wild – Always a favourite of mine! I’ve built up a cyber rapport with Dries de Wet, surely the closest thing to real friendship any man could wish for! Dankie Dries!
Pat – Thanks too Pat, for your continued support. Your visits are always appreciated!
Big Mac and Why’s? – Must be about the only other “Republican” supporter in Ireland! Tells the truth as it is. Such a pity that this blog isn’t read and appreciated by many more. Keep up the great work!
Joan Frankham – A friend who shares a love for things Irish… and African! As Joan featured a post about a ship and cranes in Cork Harbour I chose a few Arklow boat and crane pics… thanks Joan!
There you have it… a few friends who still call around these days. It is indeed gratifying to share virtual friendships… and to be part of these folk’s lives!
