Dense – Can’t See the Wood for the Trees!

When I spotted this week’s challenge a few different ideas floated. Dense. Ben’s photo got the old cliché juices flowing.

Can’t see the wood for the trees…

But then… as youngsters we used dense as a bit of a derogatory term. If someone was regarded as dense they may not always have used all their brain cells at once. Or, they could’ve disregarded the obvious… just not seeing the wood for the trees!

OK… you get the drift? That takes me back to wood. Driftwood. Wood and trees… trees and forest. Dense. Stupid dense or dense stupid? Who knows? I mean… at this stage I’m having difficulty seeing the wood for the trees… so, I may as well give you a gallery… of trees and wood… for the trees!

And… as promised for this week… a theme song as well!

      I’m so happy that the trees have done it for you! But then, I should have known! Trees… just to think of them is relaxing!! 😉

        Trees do it for me every time. Just back from hiking in their midst and caught on camera by several passers by talking to them. Why not? They are far wiser than I’l ever be!

          (I must still reply to your comment about getting back into the hills… recuperating after last year’s mishap. I have to confess… I must still find the details but I think you went through a rather rough patch so it’s real good to know you’re well on the mend!!) 😉 😀 😉
