Wild Fruit Wednesday

Hedgerows for an important part of the ecology and landscape in Ireland. The typical hedgerow plants host many different birds and insects. Also, some of the wild-fruits are more than useful to man. At this time of the year the berries and droops begin to ripen but for today, I’m sharing this photo to show off the interesting textures and colours. Mind you, if you look closely you’ll spot water drops. The photo was at taken on a very wet day… even so, it didn’t dampen the cheery effect of the hedgerow!
