I reckon Dublin’s Ha’penny Bridge must be one of the most photographed icon in Dublin. These days the Samuel Beckett Bridge also gets a lot of attention but the Ha’penny has been around for a very long time. The bridge is also used by lovers to hang their love locks but the weight can get excessive so every now and then the Council will remove the locks… spoilsports?

Bigger, blingier bridges may come along, but the Ha’penny will always be the quintessential Dublin bridge for my money. Lovely shot, Vossie. 🙂
