A Peek Into – AJ Vosse, the Storyteller

Keeping the peek line of thought going, why don’t I suggest an interactive Q&A session or twenty? The thought has dawned that many of you regular friends know bits about me but may not know what motivates the storytelling element of my being. My alter-ego… or the person who cohabits the engineer’s brain. Actually, there’s more than one person, I think?

I tell the tale, usually when there’s a party on the go and I feel like generating odd looks among strangers, of the occupants of a small family saloon occupying the insides of my head. That means, at any given time, I have between three and five adults up there. Yes, you must see the looks! Then, when I really want to wind them up, I divulge that the driver is a hot redhead beauty. A bit of a slapper, as they say here in Ireland. A bold girl… as my South African friends would say, ‘n lekker los stuk! 

Forgive me… I’m not nuts… I just can’t explain where the stories begin, what causes the spark or why they are there in the first place. I’ve accepted that it may just simply be a gift. Others can do gymnastics… or sketch horses, or paint flowers, or design bridges. I contort words into sentences and sentences into paragraphs and… yes, you get the picture!

So… here’s the idea. Why don’t you, my visitors, think of a few questions to put to the storyteller. No, don’t ask the engineer anything… he’s boring. I will open a Storyteller’s Q&A page…
