Here’s a story you don’t have to believe. I’m not talking porkies, I promise. This bit of beach must be the third most northerly beach in Ireland. And, only by about ten meters is it not the most northerly beach. However, this isn’t its main claim to fame. Apparently… someone reliably informed me, this is where scenes were filmed for some Star Wars movie.
Now, I last watched a Star Wars movie sometime in 1793 of four, so… how the blazes would I know about anything related to movies in the modern era? I couldn’t work out why three young ladies were to be found so far off course on a chilly winter’s day… but fortunately I was put out of my mystery by the kind gentleman who lives opposite the beach. Why was he there? That’s a story for another day…
Happy Friday!! Be good, and as always, don’t do what I wouldn’t. Yes, that includes telling porkies!
PS – I wonder… were those three looking for artefacts?
PPS – You will need some reading material this weekend… what could be easier than a collection of short stories?

Did you mean to say 1793? You are older than I thought 🙂
