Tuesday Tree – The Recovery

Some months ago I showed you the after effects of Storm Ophelia. I’ll not call it Hurricane Ophelia because it was downgraded just before it hit the coast. In that post I shared a before and after photos of a specific tree.

Now, I believe one of the tree’s friends has toppled and come to rest over the newly formed path that the river has cut for itself to the sea.

Here’s a picture taken from the same vantage point I used for those photos… looks like recovery has begun. A few trees were toppled but the woodland is showing good signs of new growth and rejuvenation.
