Twisted Rope – Docking

I watched as the fishermen neared the harbour wall… ropes at the ready. It dawned on me that those twisted coils would fit this week’s challenge just perfectly… so… here we go…

… fling that coil…

watch the twists fly…

nearly there… the twisted coils unfurl…

aha… got it… time to tie-up… pulling the twisted rope into a less messy line…

I’ve always admired families and folks in the fishing industry. Such tough early bird work and so dangerous too. Oh, and often freezing too. Those who can eat a hot meal on a portable stove are really sumthin’. Great pics, aj.

Yep… they are to be admired! Love boats… love fishing! Can spend hours in harbours… lapping up the scenes!! However, as much as I like going out to seat to fish… I get seasick… bad!! :/
Thanks for the comment… I really value it! 😉

Many smiles in this post…at first I couldn’t decide if you were playing with a little modern art… Or if you’d just scribbled on your pictures. 😊 😊 😊

Haha… no, I sat watching… camera at the ready! Easier to take the photos than to do the drawing! Imagine… how difficult it would be to make the rope look realistic! 😉

I value your 'likes' and comments, even though I don't always reciprocate, I care. Thanks for making the effort! God Bless!!
