It’s been a while since I’ve shown you anything canal. Boats, barges… locks and towpaths. They all make up a very interesting part of the Irish landscape. There are two canals that begin in Dublin and end on the Shannon. I’ve had the pleasure of walking the length of both and have recorded much of my walks along the Royal and Grand here and here. For today, I’ll throw together a gallery of photos that you can find interspersed in those posts and elsewhere in the blog. Happy memories…
PS – There are other canal routes in Ireland too… I’ve just shared the pics taken along the Royal and Grand Canals as I’ve walked the full length of these two canals…
