I was going to give you a totally different post today… until we went for a wee walk-about down at South Beach. It was a bit windy so when we found a semi-sheltered spot we were more than rewarded with the buzzing wildlife! I managed to snap away… and get my first recordings of Painted Lady and Small Copper butterflies for the year! So, here you have a totally unplanned gallery… of magic moments!
Happy Monday! May your week be filled with happy memory makers! Just in case you are wondering… the blue plant is a Sea Holly… really cool summer flower!
Sjoe dis pragtige foto’s, AJ!

Oh, what a wonderful collection of species. I hope you are sending all those records in! We were in similar habitat twice in last week but unfortunately on both occasions no butterflies (too cloudy and windy) but a few nice bees braving it.

I usually do log… thanks for the reminder, I’ll do these now! It was just so cool to sort of stumble on the scene… I was waiting for my good lady to come and collect me… so, I dragged her back to come and join the fun! Promise, not against her will! 😉
