We lived in the Kilcock area for many years after relocating to Ireland so it is only fair that I give the village a shout! We enjoyed many a good year in and around the town but for me, the main attraction was the Royal Canal that cuts the town in two. The history and what the canal offers in the way of leisure has much to enjoy.
During the years, I’ve met a few bargies… folk who love their boats and love traversing the inland waterways. So… how about we have a look-see at the past? A brief view of Kilcock and surrounding area will remind me of our not too distant past in Ireland… of friendships and fun!
Dit lyk fabulous!!!!!

Dit is regtig ‘n vantasties belewing. Die bote vaar stadiger as loopspoed. Ek het dikwils vir ‘n boot weggeloop, so mens sien en wardeer alles teen slakke pas! 😉

Ja… meer so in Engeland as hier maar vra vir Antie Googel… die Shannon/ Royal Canal/ Grand Canal cruises kan werk. Ek her meer as een keer Suid Afrikaaners met vlae en al langs die kanale gekry!
