Tuesday’s Trees and Tunes

New Year… new things… new combinations… new whatever’s. Not so new, my trees and tunes posts. So, what’s new then? Nothing… apart that I’m going to try and link the tune with the trees. Somehow…

I love both the image and the song… and there are a few tenuous links… yep, the song is from a Waterboys LP based on the work of the Irish poet – WB Yeats. The tree, a beech, I think… has an eerie, almost mystical look about it… on a very grey Irish winter’s day… one can almost see the poet beneath… composing his thoughts… and singing his song…
