Yes, I have to give you a few facts – today being that kind of day! As the winter is roaring full-tilt around us, I have a need for a summer flapper photo. And why not? This shot reminds me of summer fun… chasing butterflies! Yep… sometimes they just won’t sit still, so… it becomes hard work getting the shot – but who cares if you’re out and about in the summer sunshine?
As for the usual Friday report back on work progress… if I tell you I have nothing to report, then I’ll be lying just a tad. Wednesdays and Thursdays are usually my study days… but, this week I had to be granddad’s taxi… and help the good lady with darling duty! Yep. I have minimised my driving because of my neck condition but occasionally one has to do what one has to do. So… the grand-kids had priority!
Anyway, as for writing… I managed to get the two books out in paperback format before the end of January – well ahead of target, so… I don’t feel too guilty that not much has happened on the writing front! Targets are made to be stretched… or amended… or tweaked! Well, that’s my story and I’m sticking with it!
So, as it’s the first of the month… I hope you’ve snapped out of the January blues and that February treats you well! I’m sure Lady Serendipity is going to throw me some sweet bones this month… all you need to do is watch this space… please! Thank you!
PS – If you’re wondering… darling duty is my definition of childminding – ie, looking after the grand-kids!
