Curls on the Beach – Part Two!

Many years ago… in Aug 2011, I did a similarly titled post – about the same piece of art. Only, this time the photo is a lot better… brighter – with a glorious blue-sky backdrop. Today’s photo was taken on a very clear winter’s day. Yes, clear… not warm! I promise, it was pretty chilly and the breeze was blowing directly from the snow-covered Dublin Mountains, I kid you not! However, I couldn’t remember the name of the artist or the work so I solicited a tad of information from Mrs Google… she who knows everything. Do read below… I’ve included a snip and a link from an article posted as long ago as 2002!!

Do click here to read The Irish Times article… you’ll have to smile at the dramatic title…

Sculpture on Sandymount strand creates shock waves

OK… enough of that… here’s the promised photo…

No love lost there?? Oh well… better things to be squabbling about…

A nice sculpture, but unfortunately an unwanted gift.

Lyk soos ‘n kruis tussen ‘n martelinstrument en ‘n padnetwerk rondomtalie wisselaar. Daai lug is ysblou.

Interessante “kunswerk”😄 Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I value your 'likes' and comments, even though I don't always reciprocate, I care. Thanks for making the effort! God Bless!!
