Tuesday’s Trees and Tunes – Chilly… Hot!

Yesterday I was on about the changeable weather… well, it got better! On Sunday, we took a drive back to the old Kilcock haunts. Birthdays mean happy family time-sharing… so, it was only right that we went inland. Now… sometime in the afternoon I noticed white rain… yep, big, fat flakes… sorry… icy raindrops descending. And descend did they!

OK… enough background info. We chose to drive homeward quite soon after that. When snow starts sticking things can get really interesting on the roads. However… we chose to take a short diversion… through the Carton House estate… a very scenic place in any weather conditions.

So… there we were… lapping up the beauty… not the snow! Well, I’m wondering about my good lady… she can’t stay in the car. Yes, that speck in the distance is her… and to prove my dependence on a warm car’s interior, I didn’t crop out the window frame. Anyway… I’m supposed to be sharing a bit of music… so, why don’t I warm up your soul?

From snowflakes to stars… yes, I don’t lightly attach the term to humans… but these two are right out there in the musical firmament. Mind you, they’re backed by superb musicians… so, all in all… how can we not appreciate the pleasure?
