It’s that time again… when I debate the conundrum with myself… can closeup photograph be classed as macro photography? I don’t know but what I do know is that my good lady was very close to the action when she took this pic of me… in action! So… I’ll use it for today’s challenge… because I like the detail… closeup macro detail! (You may wonder too… how come I’m using a photo taken by my good lady – well, because I asked her… and because the pic was taken with my camera!)
OK… you all feel free to let me know if you think I can use the pic for one of Irene’s Macro Monday posts… because if you think I can’t, I’ll have to come up with another plan!
PS – Happy Monday the thirteenth!! Beware of white cats…
PPS – Submission time… hurry, hurry… please!

Just saw this now since I have been spending time with my grand daughter all day long. Love your art and I’ll take this close up shot for Sunshine’s Macro Monday anytime. You are right that it is not true macro but for this challenge it does not have to be. My love of macro photography started with close up photography because that is all I could do at the time without a macro lens. I’d rather encourage people to have fun and do the best they can to bring out details with whatever lens they have. 😉

The best part is that grandpa can take you home after… and you don’t have to get up in the middle of the night…. to change nappies… oh, sorry, diapers… 😉
Mind you… maybe you take grandpa home! Mustn’t be PC incorrect… you never know who’s watching!
