Spray Plume… and… a Splash of Colour!

Yesterday, Storm Brendan passed us by… a quick fury… within hours he was gone. However… after the storm passed the waves still run riot for a few hours… so, we do what we love doing… go down to the beach and see if there’ll be waves crashing over the breakwater. Social media seemed to suggest the waves were more intense at the height of the storm but we were away in the Big Smoke so we didn’t have a chance to see for ourselves until around four in the afternoon.

Now, I must say… during the storms the sky is usually grey so even though the wave plumes are great the photos often aren’t. When we got there yesterday the late afternoon sun helped light up the plumes… making the photos even more spectacular. Yes… those are people adding colour. The lady and the kids were not in the danger zone… but the lad in the distance… well… rather I say nothing!

Dis besonders! Die blou lug maak die wit brander pragtig uitstaan.
